My (updated) Top 100

I posted a previous version of my top 100 in April of last year. It is a refining process to look at your own opinions and try to weed out why exactly you truly love something. The “top 100 list” should be more than a list of recommendations as I’ve previously thought. Instead they are films, that make you laugh, movies that make you cry, and motion pictures that you emotionally connect with. I want to be as sincere as possible. I strive to be as hipster as possible but with the foresight to know what I actually care about. So… in essence to not be hipster at all. A scarf may be around my neck, my hair may be quiffed, vintage clothing might be in my closet, but in my head I know Who created me, I know what I believe politically and I know that deep down I really like these things adorning my earthly body. I didn’t expect to go into all this a post about my Favorite Films of all time, but as I say, “So… There’s that.”

Last thing: This will surely flux and flex with time. I won’t always love these but as of now these are the tippy top of everything I love about film. These are in alphabetical order because I find Flickchart to be a bit strange when it comes to my list of movies (Really? Election? It’s an okay film but it’s not in my top hundred okay? Stop trying to tell me that.).
